The door is the original grey. As you enter there is the living room with a small table. Behind it, there is the floor fireplace – which had also been used to cook – and the wonderful working table left by the shoemaker (“scarper” in the local dialect). To the left, there is the small alcove with a wrought iron surrounded double bed. (The wrought old iron easels were called “trustiedd” in the local dialect). The bathroom with shower has been created in the thickness of the walls where once there was a smaller bedroom. The wooden mezzanine is used as storage.
